1-Year PrimeCare B extension for small mobile and branch Peplink routers
PrimeCare B renews the bundled service subscription on small-tier mobile and branch Peplink routers for 12 months from activation. Without an active PrimeCare subscription, the router still routes traffic but loses InControl 2 cloud management, SpeedFusion peer entitlement, FusionHub licences, and bonding/failover/smoothing features. PrimeCare B is the right tier for BR1 Mini LTE/LTEA, B One Plus, and BR2 LTE.
What this tier covers
PrimeCare B applies to:
- MAX BR1 Mini LTE
- MAX BR1 Mini LTEA Cat-12
- B One Plus
- MAX BR2 LTE EMEA
- AP One Mini and selected entry APs
The router's product page lists the correct tier letter under "Recommended add-ons". InControl 2 validates the activation key against the device serial; buying the wrong tier won't activate.
What renewing PrimeCare unlocks
- InControl 2 cloud management: single-pane fleet oversight, configuration push, firmware control, GPS tracking and traffic statistics
- 5 SpeedFusion VPN peers: bond cellular, Ethernet WAN, Wi-Fi WAN, Starlink into a single resilient pipe
- SpeedFusion features: hot failover, WAN smoothing, bandwidth bonding
- BR1 Mini feature pack unlock: second WAN port (Ethernet or Wi-Fi as WAN) and bonding features stay live as long as PrimeCare is current; without it, the Mini becomes single-WAN
- FusionHub licence entitlement
- Warranty extension: extends standard 1-year warranty by another year
- Firmware support: continued firmware and security updates
How activation works
- You buy this PrimeCare B 1-Year extension. We email the activation key after order processing.
- Log in to InControl 2 (or open the Peplink mobile app) and apply the activation key against the target device's serial number.
- The 12-month period starts from the activation date. Extensions stack: activating while existing cover remains adds to the existing cover end date.
Multi-year savings
For longer cover, the 2-year (PRM-B-2Y, £178) and 4-year (PRM-B-4Y, £356) extensions price at flat multiples. Most fleet operators with 5+ vehicles run 4-year cover to align with hardware refresh cycles and avoid per-renewal admin overhead.
Critical for BR1 Mini deployments
The BR1 Mini LTE and LTEA platforms have a unique behaviour: without PrimeCare or the perpetual feature pack licence (MAX-BR1-MINI-LC-FP), the second WAN port and bonding features deactivate. For fleet operators, this matters more than usual. Either keep PrimeCare current or buy the perpetual feature pack outright.
PrimeCare vs PrimeCare+
PrimeCare+ B (PCP-B range) adds advanced 24/7 technical support and faster RMA for mission-critical fleet deployments. For most fleet operators, regular PrimeCare B is plenty.
