When does the extension start?

PrimeCare extensions activate at the end of the current care plan term, providing continuous coverage. Stack multiple terms for longer protection.

Is this the right tier for my router?

PrimeCare A applies to entry-level routers (B One, BR1 Mini, AP One); B/C to mid-tier (Balance 310, BR2, Transit); D/E to flagship enterprise (HD MBX, SDX); J/K/P to top-tier (EPX, SDX Pro, Balance 5000 EC). Check the title and the product spec for compatibility.

After purchase, the licence key is delivered by email. Apply it via InControl 2 cloud against your router's serial number. The extension activates immediately.

Can I transfer it to another router?

PrimeCare licences are tied to the router's serial number and are non-transferrable. Always verify your router serial before purchasing.

What happens if I let it lapse?

Cloud management features and SpeedFusion will continue working but you lose access to firmware updates, advance RMA, and engineering support. Reactivation is possible but will be charged from the end of the original cover.

PrimeCare P renews the bundled service subscription on top-tier flagship Peplink hardware for 12 months from activation. The premium enterprise care tier covering Peplink's largest and most demanding deployments: EPX series, Balance 2500/5000 EC, MAX HD4 MBX 5G, PDX, and PDX EC. How activation works

You buy this PrimeCare P 1-Year extension. We email the activation key after order processing.
Apply the activation key in InControl 2 against the target device's serial number.
The 12-month period starts from the activation date. Extensions stack with existing cover.

Multi-year ladder

1-year (£1,219) → 2-year (PRM-P-2Y, £2,438) → 4-year (PRM-P-4Y, £4,876). Almost every customer at this tier buys 4-year cover.

HA pair pricing

Each device in an HA pair needs its own PrimeCare P subscription. For a primary plus standby pair on 4-year cover, that's two PRM-P-4Y entitlements (£9,752 total). The Tech Factory quotes pair-bundles to reduce administration overhead at this scale.
