The Mobility 40G is a 4-in-1 (4 cellular + GPS) external antenna designed to extract every megabit out of a 4x4 MIMO 5G or LTE-Advanced modem. Wide cellular range covering LTE bands B1 to B86 (excluding B31, B72, B73, B87, B88) plus 5G NR bands n1 to n99, GPS active receiver, internal feeder cable management, and a single-piece moulded enclosure that screws directly to a vehicle roof, vessel mast, or rooftop mount. The 5G upper bands (5-6 GHz) deliver 7.0 dBi gain, the mid-band (1710-2700 MHz) 5.1 dBi, and the low-band (617-960 MHz) 0.3 dBi.
The 2 metre cable variant (S-B-6 SKU) is the standard for vehicle and small marine deployments. Five SMA male connectors, one for each cellular element and one for GPS. The companion router needs 4x4 cellular MIMO and a GPS input to use all elements; pairs naturally with BR1 Pro 5G, BR2 Pro 5G, Balance 310X 5G, and other 4-stream Peplink routers.

Where it fits
This is the right cellular antenna for any vehicle, vessel, or fixed-site deployment with a 4x4 MIMO modem where you want to actually use the cellular bandwidth the router can deliver. Public safety vehicles. Broadcast support cars. Commercial transit (buses, coaches, vans). Marine vessels with deck-mounted antennas. Fleet HGVs. Rooftop fixed-site installs feeding an indoor router. The 4x4 MIMO design is the difference between getting 200 Mbps and 800 Mbps from a Cat-20 or 5G modem in good coverage.
For deployments that also need Wi-Fi MIMO, the Mobility 22G adds 2 Wi-Fi elements (replacing 2 of the cellular). For higher-end 5G with 7-element coverage including Wi-Fi, the Mobility 42G is the call. For complete outdoor rooftop deployment without internal cable runs, the Antenna MAX combines a router and antenna in one weatherproof box.

FAQ
Why 4 cellular elements? Modern 4G LTE-Advanced and 5G NR modems use 4x4 MIMO to multiply throughput on a single carrier. Without 4 cellular antenna elements, the modem falls back to 2x2 MIMO and you lose roughly half the achievable throughput. The Mobility 40G is the matching antenna for premium Peplink mobile routers.
Does it work with non-Peplink routers? Yes, the SMA connectors are standard. Any 4x4 MIMO cellular router with SMA antenna inputs will work, though we test and recommend the antenna with Peplink routers specifically.
Black or white finish? Black is the standard for most commercial vehicles, fleet vehicles, and urban deployments. White is preferred for marine (matches superyacht and commercial vessel finishes) and certain fixed-site installs where the antenna needs to disappear against light building cladding. Both perform identically.
Can I mount it on a vessel mast? Yes. IP67 rating handles salt spray and weather; the through-hole bolt mount works with standard mast adapters. We've deployed Mobility 40G on commercial vessels, sailboats, and superyachts. For mast mount specifically, pair with the ACW-650 mast thread adapter.
What if I need 6+ metre cable run? Longer cable variants (-25 SKU suffix is 25 ft, etc) exist but are special-order. The standard 2 m run is sufficient for most vehicle and small-vessel installs. For longer runs, contact us for the right SKU.
