PrimeCare extensions cover InControl 2 cloud management, SpeedFusion VPN bonding features, advance hardware replacement (where applicable), firmware updates, and warranty extension to match the term.

When does the extension start?

PrimeCare extensions activate at the end of the current care plan term, providing continuous coverage. Stack multiple terms for longer protection.

Is this the right tier for my router?

PrimeCare A applies to entry-level routers (B One, BR1 Mini, AP One); B/C to mid-tier (Balance 310, BR2, Transit); D/E to flagship enterprise (HD MBX, SDX); J/K/P to top-tier (EPX, SDX Pro, Balance 5000 EC). Check the title and the product spec for compatibility.

After purchase, the licence key is delivered by email. Apply it via InControl 2 cloud against your router's serial number. The extension activates immediately.

Can I transfer it to another router?

PrimeCare licences are tied to the router's serial number and are non-transferrable. Always verify your router serial before purchasing.

What happens if I let it lapse?

Cloud management features and SpeedFusion will continue working but you lose access to firmware updates, advance RMA, and engineering support. Reactivation is possible but will be charged from the end of the original cover.

4-Year PrimeCare A extension for entry-tier Peplink routers

PrimeCare A 4-year cover renews the bundled service subscription for 48 months from activation. Same entitlements as the 1-year and 2-year variants, with multi-year savings on administration and price stability across hardware refresh cycles. SKU PRM-A-4Y.

What this tier covers

PrimeCare A applies to entry-tier Peplink routers, principally the B One (B-ONE-T-PRM, £279) and selected legacy Surf SOHO hardware. Multi-year vs annual

4-year (PRM-A-4Y, £196) is a flat 4x of 1-year (£49). No volume discount, but the certainty and the reduced administration overhead earn their keep across an SME estate. For shorter cover, 1-year (£49) and 2-year (PRM-A-2Y, £98) extensions are also available.

How activation works

Same as the 1-Year extension: we email the activation key, you apply it in InControl 2 against the target device serial, the 48-month period starts. Extensions stack with existing cover. Activating a 4-year extension while 6 months of cover remains gives you 4.5 years total.
