The Peplink Slim 40G is a 4-in-1 (4 cellular + GPS) external antenna in a deliberately low-profile housing. Same 4x4 cellular MIMO architecture as the larger Mobility 42G but in a sleeker enclosure that lies closer to the mounting surface. The right choice for fleet vehicles where roof-mount aesthetics matter (premium vehicles, taxis, executive transport), for low-bridge clearance situations, and for any deployment where a tall dome antenna would be visually intrusive or impractical.
Wide cellular range from 600 to 6000 MHz covers all major LTE bands plus 5G NR sub-6 GHz including C-band (3.3-4.2 GHz) and the high band (5-6 GHz). 8.2 dBi peak cellular gain. Active GPS receiver with built-in low-noise amplifier. IP rated for permanent outdoor exposure on vehicle roofs and vessel decks.

Pick the Slim 40G when you need 4x4 cellular plus GPS but Wi-Fi is handled separately (e.g. by a dedicated AP), or when the lower profile is a hard requirement. Pick the Mobility 42G when you also need integrated Wi-Fi MIMO or when the larger gain pattern of the dome shape is preferred.
