How quotes work

Any signed in customer can turn a cart into a quote. Trade accounts are quoted at their agreed pricing.

Getting a quote

Sign in, add what you need to the cart, then tap Save cart as a quote. Your priced quote arrives by email, usually within a few minutes. If a line needs a human check you will get an acknowledgement first and our team sends the priced quote shortly after. Quotes are valid for 30 days. For quote-only hardware we confirm UK, EU or US lead time on the quote, typically 1 to 2 weeks.

Changing a quote

Reply to the quote email with what you would like different: quantities, alternative models, delivery questions. We send an updated quote; the newest email is the one that counts.

Approving a quote

Open the quote email and tap Review and accept quote. Check your delivery details, then either pay by card, or on approved trade accounts select choose payment method later to place the order on your 28-day account. Nothing is charged at checkout on account orders.

After approval

You get an order confirmation straight away. Same-day UK dispatch on orders before 13:00 (working days) when the SKU is in our supply chain; otherwise typically 1 to 3 working days from UK, or 5 to 10 days sourced from EU or US. Account orders receive the invoice by email, payable within 28 days by bank transfer using the details on the invoice. You can pay early by card from your account at any time, and a card saved at checkout is only charged if the invoice is still unpaid on the due date.

Reminders and expiry

We check in a couple of days after sending your quote and again after a week. Near the 30-day mark we remind you before it expires; after that we are happy to re-price on request.
