Marine mast thread adapter: 1 1/4" 11TPI male to Mobility antenna thread
The Peplink ACW-653A is the alternate marine mast adapter, converting the Mobility 42G or Antenna MAX threaded mount to the 1 1/4" 11TPI male thread used on a subset of marine VHF, GPS, and radar arch mounts. The right adapter when mounting a Peplink antenna onto an existing 1 1/4" 11TPI marine mount, common on Glomex radar arches, certain stainless steel mast extensions, and marine accessory rails. Which marine thread do you have?
Two thread standards dominate marine antenna mounting:
- 1" 14TPI: the older, smaller, and more common standard. Most VHF whip antennas, GPS antennas, and entry-level masts use this. Use the ACW-651 (£89).
- 1 1/4" 11TPI (this listing), the larger heavy-duty standard. Glomex radar arches, premium stainless mast extensions, and some commercial marine mounts use this.
Confirm your existing mount thread before ordering by measuring the thread diameter (1" vs 1 1/4") and pitch (14 turns per inch vs 11 turns per inch). Most marine chandlers can confirm.
