Does it require an external controller?

Optional. The AP can run standalone, or be managed from a Peplink router (B One, Balance, SDX) that hosts a built-in Wi-Fi controller, or from InControl 2 cloud for multi-site deployments.

PoE (802.3af or 802.3at depending on model). PoE injectors are available; or pair with a Peplink Switch which provides PoE budget for multiple APs.

Will it run with my existing Wi-Fi 6 router?

Yes. The AP can be deployed standalone with any DHCP server. For best results pair with a Peplink router and use the integrated controller for centralised SSID management, captive portal, and roaming.

Does it support ceiling and wall mounting?

Yes. Ceiling mount bracket and wall mount hardware are included in the box.

What is the recommended client count?

See the spec table above for concurrent client recommendation. Wi-Fi 6 models typically support 100+ clients; Wi-Fi 7 models 200+. Real-world capacity depends on application mix and channel utilisation.

AP Pro AX is IP67-rated for outdoor use. Indoor models should not be used outdoors without appropriate enclosure.

Does PrimeCare apply?

AP One and AP Pro models include 1-year PrimeCare A/B as standard, providing InControl 2 cloud management and warranty support.
