Wi-Fi 6 dual-WAN branch router with embedded LTE backup
The Peplink B One Plus is the cellular-equipped sibling of the B One. Same Wi-Fi 6, same SpeedFusion engine, same enterprise-grade firewall, with one critical addition: a built-in CAT-4 LTE modem and redundant SIM slot. When your fixed lines drop, the LTE modem takes over instantly. When they're up, it sits ready as a third path for SpeedFusion bonding or a low-bandwidth management channel. For sites where downtime costs real money, this is the small router that earns its keep.
Built for branches that can't afford to drop
The B One Plus targets the 1-150 user environment: retail floors, branch offices, small clinics, remote teams. Two Gigabit Ethernet WAN ports take fixed lines (fibre, FTTC, cable, leased line, or Starlink). A USB-C WAN port adds tethering or a fourth WAN. Embedded LTE adds a fully managed cellular failover with a SIM tray that supports physical SIMs, eSIM provisioning, and Peplink's RemoteSIM via SIM Injector for centralised cellular fleet management. If the primary line dies at 9:42am during a checkout queue, no one notices.
SpeedFusion gives you VPN bonding across all WAN paths with hot failover, WAN smoothing, and bandwidth aggregation. Two SpeedFusion peers ship by default, scaling to 5, 10 or 20 with the bundled PrimeCare subscription. The same hardware drives a built-in AP controller for up to 50 access points, so a single B One Plus can run a small site's whole connectivity and Wi-Fi without a separate controller.

Where it fits
The B One Plus is the right answer for sites where the cost of an outage is bigger than the cost of a SIM. Retail tills running cloud POS, dental practices syncing imaging to cloud PACS, small accountancy firms with cloud finance, branch offices on Microsoft 365, holiday let receptions on a Starlink primary line. Anywhere a single-WAN router would have you fielding panic calls during the next ISP wobble. We deploy these in pairs across multi-site retail estates and they run for years without intervention thanks to InControl 2 cloud management.

FAQ
Will it work with Starlink? Yes. Plug Starlink into one of the Ethernet WAN ports and the B One Plus will treat it as a normal WAN. SpeedFusion can then bond Starlink with the embedded LTE for seamless failover.
Can I bring my own SIM? Yes. The Mini-SIM (2FF) tray accepts any unlocked carrier SIM. With firmware 8.4 or above the device also supports BYO eSIM with two profiles. We recommend a multi-network IoT SIM for branch failover.
What's the difference between B One, B One Plus and B One 5G? All three share the same Wi-Fi 6 enclosure and 1 Gbps routing engine. The B One has fixed-line WAN only. The B One Plus adds an embedded CAT-4 LTE modem. The B One 5G adds a 5G modem. Step up only when you need the cellular path.
Does PrimeCare cost extra? A 1-year PrimeCare subscription is included with every B One Plus we ship. PrimeCare unlocks 5 SpeedFusion peers, InControl 2 cloud management, hot failover, WAN smoothing, bandwidth bonding, and warranty extension. Renewals available as 1, 2, or 4-year extensions.
Can I deploy without a public IP on the WAN? Yes. SpeedFusion VPN works through carrier-grade NAT on cellular and through any consumer ISP path with a private IP, because the tunnel is initiated outbound to a hub or peer.
