What does this care plan cover?

PrimeCare extensions cover InControl 2 cloud management, SpeedFusion VPN bonding features, advance hardware replacement (where applicable), firmware updates, and warranty extension to match the term.

When does the extension start?

PrimeCare extensions activate at the end of the current care plan term, providing continuous coverage. Stack multiple terms for longer protection.

Is this the right tier for my router?

PrimeCare A applies to entry-level routers (B One, BR1 Mini, AP One); B/C to mid-tier (Balance 310, BR2, Transit); D/E to flagship enterprise (HD MBX, SDX); J/K/P to top-tier (EPX, SDX Pro, Balance 5000 EC). Check the title and the product spec for compatibility.

After purchase, the licence key is delivered by email. Apply it via InControl 2 cloud against your router's serial number. The extension activates immediately.

Can I transfer it to another router?

PrimeCare licences are tied to the router's serial number and are non-transferrable. Always verify your router serial before purchasing.

What happens if I let it lapse?

Cloud management features and SpeedFusion will continue working but you lose access to firmware updates, advance RMA, and engineering support. Reactivation is possible but will be charged from the end of the original cover.

Renew with your serial number

Cover is applied to one specific unit, so this renewal has to be bought against a serial number. The renewals checker confirms it is the right plan for your device and attaches the serial to the order. One licence per serial.

Whether this subscription applies depends on the exact model, so we sell it against a serial number only. Enter your serial on our renewal checker and it will show the correct product for that unit. If the checker cannot price it, it passes the request to our engineering team and we will come back to you with the right option.

PrimeCare models (product codes ending -PRM, for example MAX BR1 Pro 5G, BR1 Mini, BR2 Pro, B One). Peplink does not apply InControl-only subscriptions to PrimeCare hardware. InControl access for these units comes with a PrimeCare renewal, which the checker will offer.
Devices still in warranty. InControl access is already included.
Other model families such as MAX Transit, MAX HD2, MAX HD4, HD Dome, Balance 210 to 710, Balance 310X and SDX. These use separate model-specific InControl subscriptions. Contact us and we will quote the correct one.

We order the subscription from Peplink against your device serial number and confirm by email once it is active. This is a licence, nothing is shipped.
