The Peplink MediaFast 500 is a specialised enterprise platform combining SD-WAN routing with onboard content caching and acceleration. Built for retail, hospitality, education, and broadcast deployments where the same content is delivered repeatedly to users at the edge: training videos, marketing content, software updates, OS images, broadcast media. The MediaFast caching layer stores the content locally on first request and serves it from cache on subsequent requests, dramatically reducing WAN traffic and improving user experience. Why MediaFast
Standard SD-WAN routes WAN traffic. It doesn't cache.
