A self-aiming antenna mount that measures over its own 4G connection
The Cellular Path SOCA-01-T-4G50 Smart 4G is the same motorised antenna rotator as the No Modem model, with a controller that carries a Telit LTE module and a SIM of its own.
It measures and reports from sites with no local network to borrow, then re-aims the antenna remotely when the network changes.
Pre-order. First stock is expected the week of 2 November 2026. Pre-orders dispatch in the order they were placed, once the consignment has landed and been checked. We will email you if that date moves. Delivery to Great Britain only (England, Scotland and Wales).
The Problem It Solves
A directional antenna is aimed by eye on install day. The network changes, the link degrades, and somebody drives to site.
On a remote telemetry cabinet or an off-grid CCTV mast there may be no router or local network to read signal figures from. The Smart model brings its own.
What It Does
- Scans twelve positions through 360 degrees and stops on the position that measured best, in under 5 minutes.
- Logs signal strength, quality and band at every position over its own connection.
- Re-runs the scan from Cellular Path's app or web portal when the network moves. The second alignment is not a site visit.
How The Smart Model Differs
The controller holds a Telit CMB100A0-WW LTE module and one SIM slot. The directional antenna is SISO, on a single coax run, and the controller has two SMA female RF ports, in and out, at 50 ohm.
The band list below is the module's support as published by Cellular Path. It is not a statement about coverage on any UK network, so check your operator's bands for the site before you order.
The SIM is not supplied. The access point name is set at commissioning and the data sits on the customer's own account. If you need a SIM for the controller, ask us and our engineering team will recommend one for the site.
Where It Fits
Sites with no usable local network to borrow: remote telemetry, off-grid CCTV and rural compounds. For a site that already has a Peplink or other verified router, the SOCA-02 No Modem reads the router's own figures instead and supports MIMO antennas.
Not suitable for vessels or anything that moves; the rotator is built for a fixed pole.

Compliance And Import
Cellular Path warrants that each unit conforms to the UK regulations and is covered by a declaration of conformity naming the serial number supplied. The declaration and the test reports behind it are checked before any unit is sold. Imported into Great Britain by Boothroyd Group Limited, WEEE producer WEE/MM8777AA.
Warranty
Three years parts and one year labour from the end user's purchase, the labour element where the unit was installed by Boothroyd Distribution or by a reseller it authorised. Claims are handled in the United Kingdom and nothing ships to the United States. A unit that fails within thirty days of purchase may be replaced by the reseller from stock. Nothing in the warranty affects the end user's statutory rights.
Downloads
This is the manufacturer's own datasheet, written for North America, so it uses US units and lists US approvals. For units supplied in Great Britain, the power supply, warranty and compliance details on this page apply.
