The Peplink MAX BR1 IP67 is the ruggedised outdoor-rated variant of the BR1 mobile router family. Same single-modem LTE class as the standard BR1, packaged in an IP67-rated enclosure that handles rain, splash, dust, salt spray, and direct sun exposure for years. Built for outdoor deployments where running an indoor router in a separate enclosure is impractical or wasteful: vehicle exteriors, vessel decks, construction trailers, building exteriors, monitoring stations, and any deployment where the router itself needs to handle the weather. Why pick the IP67
The standard BR1 lives indoors or inside a vehicle cabin. The IP67 lives outside. Pick the IP67 when:
- Vehicle exterior mounting. Specialist vehicles, construction equipment, agricultural machinery where the router is bolted to the chassis exterior.
- Marine vessel deck mounting. Where the router itself needs to handle direct salt spray and weather rather than living inside a sealed cabin.
- Construction site trailers and pop-up infrastructure. Where the router is mounted to the trailer exterior for cellular coverage and shelter isn't guaranteed.
