When does the extension start?

PrimeCare extensions activate at the end of the current care plan term, providing continuous coverage. Stack multiple terms for longer protection.

Is this the right tier for my router?

PrimeCare A applies to entry-level routers (B One, BR1 Mini, AP One); B/C to mid-tier (Balance 310, BR2, Transit); D/E to flagship enterprise (HD MBX, SDX); J/K/P to top-tier (EPX, SDX Pro, Balance 5000 EC). Check the title and the product spec for compatibility.

After purchase, the licence key is delivered by email. Apply it via InControl 2 cloud against your router's serial number. The extension activates immediately.

Can I transfer it to another router?

PrimeCare licences are tied to the router's serial number and are non-transferrable. Always verify your router serial before purchasing.

What happens if I let it lapse?

Cloud management features and SpeedFusion will continue working but you lose access to firmware updates, advance RMA, and engineering support. Reactivation is possible but will be charged from the end of the original cover.

1-Year PrimeCare K extension for Balance SDX and large enterprise SD-WAN flagship hardware

PrimeCare K renews the bundled service subscription on Balance SDX-class enterprise hardware for 12 months from activation. Without an active PrimeCare subscription, hardware still routes traffic but loses InControl 2 cloud management, the substantial SpeedFusion peer entitlement, FusionHub licences, and the bonding/failover features that justify the SDX platform investment. How activation works

You buy this PrimeCare K 1-Year extension. We email the activation key after order processing.
Apply the activation key in InControl 2 against the target device's serial number.
The 12-month period starts from the activation date. Extensions stack with existing cover.

Multi-year ladder

1-year (£659) → 2-year (PRM-K-2Y, £1,318) → 4-year (PRM-K-4Y, £2,636). Almost every enterprise customer buys 4-year cover; the operational savings (single procurement event, locked pricing, no renewal admin) typically justify the upfront commitment.

HA pair pricing

Each device in an HA pair needs its own PrimeCare K subscription. For a primary plus standby pair on 4-year cover, that's two PRM-K-4Y entitlements. We quote pair-bundles to reduce administration overhead.
